Here are some guidelines to follow to ensure your tan is flawless:

Before your spray tan

Exfoliate the night before your spray tan, paying specific attention to elbows, knees and ankles. It is recommended that if you need to shave or wax then you should do this 24 hours before your treatment. Remove make up and deoderant before the treatment as this can lead to discolouration. Moisturise the drier areas of the body – hands, feet, knees and elbows, leave the rest of the body free of any moisturisers or body sprays etc. These can act as a barrier to the solution.

After your spray tan

For best results leave the solution on overnight. Wear loose dark clothing and loose-fitting shoes after the treatment. Do not exercise or swim whilst the tan is developing. Do not shower or bathe for a minimum of 8 hours after the treatment. After showering pat the skin dry (its best not to have hot baths after a spray tan) use a good moisturiser to prolong the life of your tan as long as possible.
